Members Day at the Mall
Since our last Newsletter we have had some busy times in the office.
The Members “Specials Day” held at Richmond Mall in conjunction with Michael Hill Richmond and the Richmond Mall Pharmacy was a great success.
Members were keen to take advantage of the specials being offered by these two businesses.
Grey Power thanks Dave from Michael Hill, Simon and Angela from the Pharmacy plus all their staff for a great day.
We look forward to doing it again next year.

Political Meetings
Despite advertising in our Newsletter, on the radio, in the local paper, all but one political meeting were poorly attended.
The John Key meeting which was a last minute addition requested by the National Party just a week prior to the meeting was attended by 240 people.
Are public meetings becoming a thing of the past?
Emails, Facebook, Massive media coverage, who needs to make the effort to come out to a meeting when you can sit at home in your comfy chair and have all the information you need at your fingertips.
Vouchers
Once again we will have available vouchers for anyone who would like to give a Grey Power membership as a Christmas present.
These proved very popular last year and is great stocking filler for someone who has everything.
New members will receive three, free months Grey Power membership.
Out and About
Grey Power Volunteers will be out and about at all summer events over Christmas and New Year.
Look out for our Stall at the Richmond Market Day, 30th December.
We will also be at Washbourne Gardens Fair, Tapawera Show, Murchison Show and anywhere else we can think of.
Come and say hello, we will be pleased to chat to our members.
Volunteers
The back bone of Nelson Grey Power, our volunteers are very important to us.
The office volunteers who give their time so freely to assist with member renewals.
The Newsletter volunteers, without whom this Newsletter would not reach your letter boxes.

We are so appreciative and grateful for all that you lovely people do for Grey Power.
