As well as the upcoming day trips we still have some places on the Christmas tour and are also introducing the 2010 North Island tour

Tom and Christine from SBL Travel are more than happy to answer questions or arrange bookings just for you. Call them on (03) 539-0834

Please note that at the time of writing some of these trips and tours may already be fully booked. Please ring to confirm.

Day Trips

Please note that meals are not included in the day trip prices unless specified.

Times of pick up and departure will be between 8am and 10am. You will receive notification a day or two prior according to the pick up schedule.

Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th January
The Naked Possum, Langford Store, Collingwood - $25

Due to popularity we are taking two trips on two different days.

We get on the road as early as possible and have morning tea in Motueka.

We then head over 'the hill' past Takaka and out to the Naked Possum for lunch and to explore the fascinating shop or the surrounding short walks.

On our return we will call into Langfors store - a historic general store and post office, still run by the Langford's who opened for business in 1928.

Apparently, this is a great place for a pot of tea and some toffee.

Depending on time restraints we will then return via Collingwood and then Takaka.

Tuesday 15th February
Blenheim and Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre - $45

The cost of this trip includes entry into Omaka

Due to popular demand we have decided to go back to the ever changing Omaka Aviation Centre.

Our day starts of as usual with a morning tea stop along the way. You will need to provide your own lunch when we reach Blenheim.

After lunch it's on to Omaka to experience the Knights of the Sky Great War Exhibition along with much more.

After this we'll make our way home

Tuesday 13th March
Moutere Area and Butterfly Enclosure - $25

Today we venture out into the Moutere area stopping for morning tea followed by a possible gallery visit.

Lunch will be taken at Upper Moutere where you'll have the option of eating at the historic Moutere Inn.

After lunch it's off to Sunrise Valley where we'll visit a Butterfly enclusure to witness the butterflies and learn a little about their lives and conservation.

We can also view their pottery gallery (an entry donation is included in the trip price) before heading home.
